1623 "McKelvin's Cypress Reserve Irish Red Ale"

Style: Irish Red Ale

ABV: 4.7%

Notes: Traditional style, with a family twist. McKelvin Cypress Reserve is 1623's family story in a can. Traditional Red Irish Ale that delivers on their Irish heritage. Georgian cypress wood is added during the fermentation process representing their emigration through Georgia which began in the 1700s through Charleston to Thomasville. Finally produced in Maryland where the current clan has resided since the early 1900s. This malt forward red delivers all the tradition with a delicate woodiness that is uniquely 1623.

1623 "Nordic Haze Hazy IPA"

Style: NEIPA

ABV: 6.7%

Notes: 1623 enjoys the craze of the haze, but they limit them in production and release. As with all of their menu, they wanted to show off all styles. Nordic Haze is their first New England Hazy IPA to get the curtain call. The first rendition highlighted the Norwegian Kviek strain - ESPE. The 2021 version will highlight Hornindal. Hornindal loves the high heat of fermentation and blends extraordinarily well with Australian Galaxy hops that deliver tropical fruit flavors. Look for complex and layered fruits with pineapple jumpking into the nose, while stone fruits and dried fruits linger in the end.

Dogfish Head "Punkin' Ale"

Style: Pumpkin Ale

ABV: 7%

Notes: Punkin' Ale is a full-bodied, spiced brown ale brewed with baked pumpkins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Dogfish Head Punkin' Ale is named after the annual Punkin' Chunkin Festival held near Lewes, Delaware the weekend after Halloween.

Heavy Seas "Great'er Pumpkin"

Style: Imperial Pumpkin Ale

ABV: 10%

Notes: With aromas of bourbon, cinnamon, ginger, and clove, Great'er Pumpkin's warm spices and full malt body are perfect counterparts. Great'er Pumpkin is not only made with real pumpkin, but is also aged in bourbon to add subtle notes of oak, vanilla, and of course, bourbon. Skip the pumpkin patch and crack one open...we won't tell.

Hofbräu "Oktoberfestbier"

Style: Oktoberfest

ABV: 6.3%

Notes: The waitress is carrying ten liters and she still has a smile on her face. Celebrating, singing, swaying - PROST! The Hofbrau tent at the Oktoberfest is known for its lively atmosphere. Here is where the world comes to celebrate. Down Under in Lederhosen. Of course, the most popular folk festival in the world wouldn't be complete without a very special beer: Hofbrau Oktoberfest beer is a full-bodied, bottom-fermented specialty beer. With its fine hoppy aroma, it's subtly soft, palatable and with a slightly sweet finish.

Stone "w00tstout 2021"

Style: Imperial Stout

ABV: 11.5%

Notes: Over the years, Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout has become one of Stone's most anticipated annual releases - and not just because it's an astoundingly flavorful beer concocted as a collaboration between FARK's Drew Curtis, nerd royalty Wil Wheaton and Stone Brewing co-founder Greg Koch. It's the incredible label art adorning this beer over the years that has elevated it to the pinnacle of beer, geekery, and beer geekery. This year's heroic artwork comes from Tom Raney, who has a history drawing comics at Marvel and DC, from X-Men to Batman. His label art depicts a superpowered, mecha-gargoyle ready to spring into action to protect the sublime sanctity of great craft beer.
