Notes: This big, boozy brew is like no other. GSB switched up the fruits from Wah Gwaan 1, nitro-dosed the cans and increased the ABV. Using a ton of guava, pineapple, banana and lime, they were able to get this quadrupel golden tropical ale up to 18.4%.

Notes: So, what did happen after two flamingos walked into a bar? A take on modern gose, Lemon-Lime Flamingo Fruit Fight is kettle soured with Lacto and brewed with traditional and non-traditional (lemon and lime zest) ingredients. The addition of fruit compliments the spiciness and tartness.

Flying Dog "Switch Doctor Pineapple Mango Imperial Sour"

Style: Imperial Sour Ale

ABV: 10%

Notes: Tread lightly, the imperial sour within is brewed with the darkest of arts. From the deepest part of the jungle comes a potent concoction used by shamans during arcane tribal ceremonies. Except Flying Dog couldn't get their hands on spider venom or poison arrow frog saliva, so they switched in pineapple and mango. I guess you can't get everything on the internet after all.

Notes: There's more than one recipe for independence. This edition of their brewed-to-be-enjoyed-now IPA is a fruitfully fresh new variant loaded with real tangerine and pineapple for maximized summer celebrations. Whether you crack into this one as soon as you get home or hold onto it until the 4th of July, make sure to enjoy it before the fireworks end as usual.

DuClaw "The PastryArchy - Banana Bread Pudding Hefeweizen"

Notes: Normally brewed with all Mosaic and normally displaying a slightly dank tropical cornucopia, Citra Lady Friend is a nearly genetic cross of flavor between tangerine and sweet, fleshy mango. With an identical recipe minus the hops, Jailbreak was surprised at how comparatively soft Citra Lady Friend feels texturally.

Jailbreak "Logger: Bohemian Pils"

Style: Bohemian Pilsner

ABV: 5.2%

Notes: First introduced by Pilsner Urquell in 1842, Bohemian Pilsner helped to revolutionize the beer world by being the first pale lager to see wide distribution. As with the other entries in their Logger series, Jailbreak kept the process and ingredient selection as close to tradition as possible. This version features single decoction, 100% floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner malt, Czech Saaz hops, Czech lager yeast, and their soft Laurel water. Expect punchy wafts of earthy, floral, noble hop character sitting atop a sturdy malt foundation of cracker, slight biscuit, and English muffin. This is a hop lover's lager as much as it is a crowd pleaser worthy of multiple pints.

Style: Czech Dark Lager

ABV: 5.2%

Notes: Jailbreak's Czech Dark Lager is inspired by the intriguingly drinkable dark lagers from the Czech Republic. Going with tradition, the floor malted Bohemian Pilsner and Munich malt mash was double decocted and given an extended boil with Czech Saaz hops before lagering for seven weeks. With a toasty malt backbone, gentle roast, and noble hop aromatics, this beer finishes with a balanced and smooth bitterness.

Jailbreak "Logger: Steam Beer"

Style: Steam Beer

ABV: 5.4%

Notes: Arguably the only truly indigenous American beer style, steam beer was first brewed in the 19th century, but was later popularized in the 20th century by the Anchor brewery. In keeping with tradition, Jailbreak utilized a lager yeast at slightly elevated temperatures, lending a but more fermentation character. Light impressions of bread and toast provide the malt foundation for the beautiful, fruity and floral balancing act that Cluster hops provide, allowing for a cohesive finished product that prides itself on drinkability with sacrificing complexity.

Great South Bay "Tipsy Lemonade"

Style: Hard Lemonade

ABV: 5%

Notes: Country Time, Turkey Hill, Minute Maid, Great South Bay, etc...they all taste the same. One of these, however, has alcohol in it. I'll let you determine which one that is. Commonly found in the Tipsy Variety Pack, we saw an opportunity to make this stuff available in a stand-alone six pack. Going head first into the aggressive Maryland heat won't be as bad with a cold can of one of these in your hands.
